Il progetto di Internazionalizzazione “UTAH”, giunto alla sua seconda edizione, si è appena concluso: ecco alcune immagini che ne raccontano le tappe principali.

Anche quest’anno il progetto era ripartito con entusiasmo e si è concluso con successo. Il feedback ricevuto lo scorso anno era stato estremamente positivo, sia dalla Utah State University di Logan sia da parte nostra, e l’edizione appena terminata ha confermato queste ottime impressioni. Giunto con successo alla sua seconda edizione, questo programma offre ai nostri studenti un'opportunità unica di crescita personale, accademica e professionale in un contesto internazionale. Vogliamo preparare i professionisti del futuro, con una mentalità aperta e competenze globali.

Il Mendel è stato lieto di accogliere la nuova student-teacher, Rachel, che ha portato energia e passione nelle attività didattiche.

Un sentito ringraziamento va alla nostra dirigente, prof.ssa Cristina Gualtieri, che ha creduto in questo progetto fin dall’inizio, e a Tyson Sorensen (Associate Professor & Program Lead), insieme al gruppo di docenti che hanno preso parte all’iniziativa.

Per la parte italiana, il progetto è stato coordinato dal prof. Massimiliano Crespi e dalla prof.ssa Anna Lisa Musazzi, con il prezioso supporto della prof.ssa Gianna L'Episcopo, che ha ospitato la studentessa americana.

L’accordo tripartito tra l’Università di Bergamo, una rete di scuole lombarde (province di Milano e Bergamo) e la facoltà di scienze applicate della Utah State University di Logan ha permesso a giovani docenti specializzati in materie STEM di essere collocati presso gli istituti secondari di secondo grado della rete, completando un tirocinio nelle discipline scientifiche in cui hanno acquisito competenze, al fine di conseguire l’abilitazione all’insegnamento.

Once again this year, the project began with great enthusiasm and has just come to a successful close. Last year’s feedback—from both Utah State University in Logan and from our side—was extremely positive, and the latest edition confirmed these excellent impressions.

Now in its second successful edition, this program offers our students a unique opportunity for personal, academic, and professional growth in an international context. Our goal is to prepare the professionals of the future with an open mindset and global skills.

Mendel High School was delighted to welcome the new student-teacher, Rachel, whose energy and passion enlivened all classroom activities.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our principal, Prof. Cristina Gualtieri, who has believed in this project from the very beginning, and to Tyson Sorensen (Associate Professor & Program Lead), together with the group of teachers who took part in the initiative.

On the Italian side, the project was coordinated by Prof. Massimiliano Crespi and Prof. Anna Lisa Musazzi, with the invaluable support of Prof. Gianna L’Episcopo, who hosted the American student-teacher.

The tripartite agreement between the University of Bergamo, a network of Lombardy schools (in the provinces of Milan and Bergamo), and the College of Applied Sciences at Utah State University in Logan enabled young teachers specializing in STEM subjects to be placed in upper-secondary schools within the network, completing an internship in the scientific disciplines in which they are acquiring (or have acquired) skills in order to obtain their teaching certification.
